**Construction Project Management Instructor**

Project Management Principles
- **What You’ll Be Doing**_
- Develop and deliver course content in classroom and online when required, this incudes preparing, organizing and implementing course materials, using appropriate educational approaches and techniques: adult learning methodologies, multi-media presentations and incorporating technology into learning process according to college standards.
- Establish and communicate clear course objectives for all learning modules; instruct and evaluate student progress and achievement, develop students’ skills, and encourage a positive learning environment according to the program.
- Observe and evaluate student’s work to determine progress, provide feedback and make suggestions for improvement; maintain accurate and complete records of student’s development.
- Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures; instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
- Track student attendance; report absenteeism to the campus administrator and input grades according to the colleges protocols.
- Ensure adherence to all safety standards and practices, including oversight, care and maintenance of any equipment used in the classroom.
- Participate in various administrative events this includes attending staff meetings, graduation ceremonies, professional development trainings and keeping up to date with industry developments.
- To be successful in the Instructor position, individuals must be committed to developing, maintaining and demonstrating the following: _

**Education and Experience**:

- Degree from a recognized University in a relevant discipline. (Preferably Masters/Ph.D) _WES evaluation for degree required if degree is earned abroad_
- Minimum of Two or more years' teaching experience in the related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- A credential in adult education or in progress from an accredited post-secondary institution. Teaching experience is preferred.
- Specific position qualifications are required for certain programs and courses.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $1.00-$2.00 per hour
