We are looking for a skilled **CCTV and Home Security Technician** to be part of our team, contributing to our vision of "Securing Today for a Safer Tomorrow." **Key Responsibilities**: - Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related equipment. - Install and maintain home security systems (alarms, digital locks, video doorbells, access control systems). - Troubleshoot and repair CCTV and home security systems to ensure functionality. - Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance. - Collaborate with team members to ensure installations meet client specifications. - Provide technical support and client training for CCTV and home security systems. - Stay current on advancements in CCTV, home security, and home automation technology; recommend upgrades as needed. - Ensure installations comply with industry standards and safety regulations. - Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs. **Qualifications**: - Proven experience as a CCTV or Home Security Technician. - Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, including IP/analog cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and network configurations. - Proficiency in installing and configuring home security systems (alarms, digital locks, video doorbells). - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. - Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. **Preferred Qualifications**: - Certification in electronic security systems or related field. - Experience with home automation solutions. - Familiarity with network configurations and IT systems. **Salary**: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications. **Average monthly payout**: $3000 - $4000. **What We Offer**: - Competitive salary and benefits package. - Opportunities for professional growth and development. - Supportive and collaborative work environment. - Chance to work with cutting-edge technology in the security and home automation industry. **How to Apply**: **VKAM Automation & Security Systems Ltd.** **1730 Leila Ave, Unit 116, Winnipeg, MB R2V 1L3** **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship, Internship / Co-op Pay: $3,000.00-$4,000.00 per month Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week Additional pay: - Bonus pay Flexible language requirement: - French not required Schedule: - Weekends as needed **Location**: - WINNIPEG, MB (preferred) Willingness to travel: - 75% (preferred) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2024-10-21
