Green Beaver is seeking a 1-year contractual Financial Controller/HR associate to take over the daily financial and HR related operations. Financial and HR related decisions will remain the responsibility of the current Director of Finance. You will report directly to the Director of Finance.

**Key Responsibilities - finance**:

- Oversee daily financial operations including (but not limited to) ensuring the payments of accounts payable, ensuring accounts receivable receptions, undertake cash flow management and any other financial analysis required.
- Ensure payments of accounts payable for the sister company Fromagerie des Trois Rapides
- Supervising the accounts payable and accounts receivable employees.
- Maintaining and preparing the internal financial reports to support business oversight and decision-making to the Director of finance, including but not limited to preparing the monthly financial statements for both companies (Green Beaver and Fromagerie des Trois Rapides).
- Entering journal entries in Sage 300 (if required for month end)
- Ensure required filings are accurate and submitted on time (HST).
- Liaise with external accountants or auditors as needed
- Any other financial or controller related tasks

**Key Responsibilities - HR**:

- Report to the Director of HR for any HR related problems
- Perform WSIB claims (if needed)
- Ensure required filings are accurate and submitted on time (EFT and WSIB).
- Perform employee related requests
- Ensure payroll is sent to external service providers in time for processing
- Any other HR related tasks

**Qualifications**:

- CPA designation required
- 2-3 years proven experience in a controller or senior accounting role, ideally within a retail or wholesale environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Sage 300 is a preferred.
- Strong understanding of Canadian tax compliance, payroll and HST regulations.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Must be perfectly bilingual (French and English)

- Green Beaver est à la recherche d'un contrôleur financier/associé RH contractuel de 1 an pour prendre en charge les opérations financières et RH quotidiennes. Les décisions financières et liées aux RH demeureront la responsabilité de la directrice actuelle. Vous relèverez directement au directeur des finances.

**Principales responsabilités - finances**:

- Superviser les opérations financières quotidiennes, y compris (mais sans s'y limiter) assurer le paiement des comptes fournisseurs, assurer la réception des comptes clients, entreprendre la gestion des flux de trésorerie et toute autre analyse financière requise.
- Aussi assurer le paiement des comptes payables pour la société sœur Fromagerie des Trois Rapides
- Superviser les employés des comptes payables et des comptes recevables.
- Tenir à jour et préparer les rapports financiers internes pour appuyer la surveillance des affaires et la prise de décisions de la directrice des finances, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, la préparation des états financiers mensuels pour les deux entreprises (Green Beaver et Fromagerie des Trois Rapides).
- Saisie d'écritures de journal dans Sage 300 (si nécessaire pour la fin du mois)
- S'assurer que les déclarations requises sont exactes et soumises à temps (TVH).
- Assurer la liaison avec des vérificateurs externes, au besoin
- Toutes autres tâches financières ou tâches de contrôleur financier

**Principales responsabilités - RH**:

- Signaler au directeur des RH tout problème lié aux RH
- Effectuer les demandes de la WSIB (au besoin)
- S'assurer que les dépôts requis sont exacts et soumis à temps (EHT et WSIB).
- Effectuer les demandes RH des employés
- S'assurer que la paie est envoyée aux fournisseurs de services externes à temps pour le traitement
- Toutes autres tâches liées aux RH

**Qualifications requises**:

- Titre de CPA requis
- 2 à 3 ans d'expérience dans un rôle de contrôleur ou de comptable sénior, idéalement dans un environnement de vente au détail.
- Maîtrise de Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Une expérience avec Sage 300 préféré.
- Bonne compréhension de la réglementation fiscale, de paie et de TVH.
- Très organisé, soucieux du détail et capable de gérer de multiples priorités.
- Doit être parfaitement bilingue (français et anglais)

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
