As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting our company's HR functions. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance on personnel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and assisting in various HR activities across departments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **HR Policy and Compliance**: Provide guidance to employees and management on personnel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- **Recruitment and Employee Relations**: Support department managers with recruitment, progressive discipline, and terminations. Address workplace complaints, including harassment, and assist in investigations and disciplinary actions.
- **Health and Safety**: Coordinate all WSIB claims and participate in the Joint Health and Safety Committee to maintain a safe working environment.
- **Employee Records and Communication**: Track employee attendance and vacation usage. Maintain personnel records and create internal communications about status changes, benefits, or company policies.
- **Onboarding and Training**: Administer the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they are well-integrated into the company.
- **Multi-tasking and Flexibility**: Be adaptable to support different HR areas as needed.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, ideally in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Must be a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) or actively working towards certification.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to assist in various areas as required.
