- The Certified Pharmacy Technician position is responsible for ensuring accuracy of technical prescriptions after the therapeutic accuracy is checked by a pharmacist, ensuring accuracy of data-entry into Kroll as well as educating and training patients and caregivers on common devices._
- Additionally, you will need to work very closely with team members to ensure we deliver world class service to complement our best in class pharmacy service operations._

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage a weekly average of medication bag handling.
- Prepare non-sterile and sterile compounds.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to support patient care and optimize medication management.
- Provide education and training to caregivers and staff on commonly used medical devices.
- Perform daily data entry using **Kroll Software**.
- Ensure the timely preparation and completion of blister packs.
- Conduct accurate bin checks for quality assurance.
- Monitor Clozaril usage, ensuring proper documentation for every dispensed dose.
- Maintain billing accuracy for OHIP+, private/public insurance, no substitution requests, correct LU codes, EAP approvals, and cash payment authorizations.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: At least 1 year of experience with Kroll Software. Experience with PacVision is considered an asset.
- **Certification**: Active registration and good standing with the **Ontario College of Pharmacists** for a minimum of 1 year.
- **Insurance**: Personal Professional Liability Insurance coverage is required.
- **Skills**: Proficient in computer use, problem-solving, flexibility, resourcefulness, and effective decision-making.
- **Communication**: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
