Since 1959 Inclusion Parksville has been providing services to adults with diverse abilities in the district 69 area (Bowser to Nanoose on Vancouver Island). Our programs foster community inclusion by supporting adults 19+ with diverse abilities, through innovative programs and person-centered planning and advocacy, to enhance the lives of all people in the community. Inclusion Parksville is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and receives funding through Community Living British Columbia (CLBC).

We are seeking a full-time permanent Programs Manager to join our leadership team. This role is integral to not only the efficient oversight of our programs that support those with diverse abilities to thrive and find independence, but it also includes oversight of our CARF accreditation (CARF is the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities International is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services).

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Programs Manager is responsible for the development, coordination, and monitoring of all programs and services for Inclusion Parksville Society whilst adhering to policies and procedures and relevant legislation and regulations under Community Living. This position is responsible for all supervisory and personnel related matters for program services and expected to perform all duties in a safe, efficient, and respectful manner to promote choice, independence, and integration for the individuals being served. The Programs Manager plays a key role in supporting with the development of organizational training, occupational health and safety training and performance management of direct reports. 

The Programs Manager plays a key role in gathering necessary data to support the development of the outcomes measurement process to comply with CARF standards. As well, the programs manager takes the lead in the development of additional annual reports to ensure compliance with CARF, including reports such as performance analysis and outcomes measurement, Health and Safety including evaluating drills, inspections, competency training, and OH&S Committee meetings; training reports; and other reports as determined by the Executive Director.

Pay: $34.90 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
