The Vancouver Circus School is searching for an Executive Assistant to join our team. Vancouver Circus School an award-winning physical and creative training facility located in New Westminster, steps from the SkyTrain station.

The Vancouver Circus School is partnered with VCS Events Inc and the Social Circus Foundation a registered Canadian charity. We are proud to offer recreational, professional development classes for a wider range of students aged 1 to 85. Since 2005, the Vancouver Circus School has educated over 12,000 students, performed over 500 shows and benefits many at risk and marginalized youth through our charitable arm, Social Circus Foundation.

This is achieved through the strength of our team, maintaining a commitment to the core values of the school, its mission, vision, and collective attitude to supporting the community. We aim to build and improve upon our core programming, training programs, operational systems, and human resource management.

Supporting the Director, the Executive Assistant will be an integral member of the leadership team. We are looking for a highly organized, detail oriented, high utility person to join our team.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Provides support by creating, programming, and staffing classes, programs, and events.
- Implementing operational procedures and improving upon current operational systems
- Develops and implements new work methods and procedures. Identifies problems, develops alternate solutions, and implements changes Generates reports and presentations.
- Provide event management support
- Provide exceptional customer support
- Create bimonthly newsletters for staff, students, and clients.
- Design, manage and implement sales and marketing campaigns
- Onboarding processing
- Manages directors’ appointment calendar including scheduling and coordinating meetings, personal appointments. Resolves scheduling conflicts and issues.
- Assists in the monitoring of expenditures for budget reports.
- Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in the work environment.
- Performs other related duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in school or gym management
- High level of computer skills with Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to adapt to changes
- Confident, intuitive, and a positive, supportive personality
- Ability to think “why” and not just do things
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to work well with others
- Proactive and enthusiastic about delivering positive results
- Possess a “I can do it attitude”
- Experience in gymnastics, circus and event management is an asset

**Salary**: $45,000.00 per year
