**Position Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Manage audit engagements for public company clients, ensuring quality and compliance with applicable standards.
- Lead a team of approximately six professionals, providing coaching, performance feedback, and mentorship.
- Review financial statements, disclosures, and working papers for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure exceptional client service.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on engagement planning, budgets, and timelines.
- Identify and resolve technical accounting and auditing issues.
- Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

**Qualifications**
- Canadian CPA designation.
- 5+ years of external audit experience with public company clients at a CPA firm in Canada.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience managing a team in a CPA firm environment.
- Current work experience at a CPA firm in Canada.
- Strong technical knowledge of **US GAAP, CAS, PCAOB, and IFRS**.
- Based in Vancouver, with the ability to work in a hybrid capacity from the Vancouver office.

**Preferred Background**
- Experience with **Big 4 firms** (EY, PwC, KPMG, Deloitte).
- Experience with **mid-sized or national firms** (Grant Thornton, MNP, RSM, etc.).

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
