**Job description**:
We are looking for a **Production Scheduler** who can create and manage the overall production schedule to ensure we meet delivery deadlines efficiently and in alignment with demand while coordinating between departments to balance capacity and resources.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create and manage daily and weekly production schedules for on-time delivery of custom packaging and automation equipment.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Production teams to align schedules with availability of materials, components and resources.
- Monitor work-in-progress, lead times, and bottlenecks to proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and keep production on track.
- Allocate work ensuring tasks are assigned based on team capabilities, operational priorities, and available resources.
- Utilize ERP systems to generate and adjust schedules while maintaining data integrity and real-time updates ensuring accuracy and traceability of work.
- Collaborate in daily production meetings to align priorities and confirm resource availability.
- Support inventory and procurement planning by ensuring schedule accuracy and notifying material and component requirements in advance.
- Contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying scheduling inefficiencies and supporting process standardization.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience as a Production scheduler preferably in the engineering/automation industry.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English to effectively communicate technical and non-technical requirements.
- Ability to prioritize
- Able to read engineering drawings.

**Location**:
Our headquarters is based in **Concord, Ontario.** A hub for advanced manufacturing with access to urban amenities, close to highway 400 and 407. There is free parking available on-site. Our facility is clean with great lighting, fostering innovation and collaboration

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
