NICO Renovations by Design Inc. is currently seeking a reliable, skilled, and experienced carpenter to join our established construction company. We are based west of the GTA and have projects, but not limited to, Toronto, Peel, Halton, Hamilton & Niagara. We are primarily looking for someone who is excited to grow with the company, who is willing to learn new skills if necessary, and who takes pride in their work. Skill level in carpentry will help determine pay. We take pride in our workmanship and aim to please and maintaining relationships with our clients. To succeed in this position, you will be dedicated, hardworking, and a true team player, with a passion for the trade and a sense of pride in your work.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Responsible for, ensuring quality work is completed on time**:

- **Maintain a safe and orderly work environment**:

- **Observe all safety requirements and regulations at all times**:

- **Knowledge of building and construction practices and building codes**:

- **Work well within a team or independently and maintain a positive attitude**:

- **Provide consistent, regular project updates to management/owner when needed**:

- **Minimize waste and maximize efficiency to reduce costs**:

- **Demonstrate a vast general knowledge of construction best practices**:

- **Maintain up to date knowledge of all code requirements**:

- **Maintain excellent client relationships and procure new clients**:

- **Personal tools and a vehicle**:

- **PAY DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE AND IS NEGOTIABLE.**

- **Specializing in Custom Millwork, Kitchen Cabinetry/Design and Residential/Commercial Renovations**:

- **General Contracting Services**:

- **From an entire Home Renovation to the Smallest Bathroom Renovation**:

- **Kitchen renovations**:

- **Bathroom renovations**:

- **Basement renovations**:

- **Home Offices**:

- **Custom Millwork, Door/Trim and Moldings Design/Installation**:

- **Custom Stair Building: Railings, Spirals, Open Treads, Flooring installation including: Hardwood/Engineered, Laminate and Tile**:

- **Custom Furniture Building**:

- **Built-in Wall Units**:

- **Fireplace Mantles**:

- **Crown Molding, Wainscoting, Balusters, Posts, Pillars/Columns**:

- **Closet Organizers **Garages/Laundry/Mud Rooms**:

- **General Carpentry**:

- **Drywall**
- **Painting/Caulking**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
- Tips
