**Position Summary**:To join our hybridized working environment Prefera Finance is in search of a driven, motivated, enthusiastic person with a positive can-do attitude to join our fast-growing team in the consumer finance industry as a full time **Bilingual (Fr/En) Collection Specialist**
As a **Bilingual Collection Specialist**, you will analyze and manage our clients' accounts. You will work with clients to strategize a plan to arrange past due payments and meet monthly goals.

**Responsibilities**:
- Providing superior customer service while addressing customer concerns and updating account information
- Communicate with clients via inbound/outbound in regard to past due balances while seeking resolution
- Create payment plans, negotiate payments, provide written correspondence regarding account status etc..
- Analyze data from AR Reports identifying key account issues & suggested resolution
- Leave accurate notes on all accounts worked via our internal platform

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in writing and speaking English & French
- Credit knowledge is an asset
- Skip Tracing experience is an asset
**Qualifications**:
- Previous work experience in a call-center work environment/equivalent
- Previous work experience in providing excellent customer service
- Previous financial collection experience is considered an asset, but not required
- Diploma/Certificate in related industry is an asset, but not required
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office, previous work experience with Excel is an asset
- **Bilingual in French and English languages (speaking, reading and writing)**
**Shift Times**:
- 8-hour shift
- anywhere in between Monday to Friday 8 PM to 8 PM and Saturday’s from 9 AM - 5 PM

**Working Conditions**:
- Must be able to sit at a computer for long periods throughout the workday, with intermittent periods of standing, walking to carry out essential duties of the job.
- Ability to communicate through the telephone as a main point of contact with dealer partners.
- Standard 37.5-hour workweek.
- 8-hour shift
- anywhere in between Monday to Friday 8 PM to 8 PM and Saturday’s from 9 AM - 5 PM
- **Required: Ability to commute to our Etobicoke, ON office approximately 1-2 times per week.**
