Located inside Fresh St. Market, Fork Lift Kitchen + Bar is bringing a fresh take on casual eats back to Vancouver House We use high-quality, local ingredients to whip up innovative menu selections that pair perfectly with our curated selection of BC craft beer.

As part of our Prep Crew, you’ll dice, slice, and chop the day away, getting our kitchen crew set up to deliver delicious culinary creations like our house-made dashi, sous vide pork belly, and marinated soft boiled eggs.

If you’re a master of preparation with an eye for detail, we want to meet you

**_What you bring to the kitchen _**
- You pride yourself on your communication skills, including fluency in English, both verbal and written, to ensure exceptional interactions with team members, leaders, and our guests
- A desire to approach and perform required tasks with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail, including use of tools such as recipe books, plating manuals, and prep sheets and kitchen equipment (i.e.: slicer, knives)
- You understand the importance of following kitchen standards for safety, production, and maintenance
- The capacity to be on your feet and physically able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- One (1) year or more experience in a high-volume kitchen is preferred
- Food Safe Certification is an asset
- **Must have a VALID authorization to work in Canada**
