The **Program Manager** provides support to the SE Future of Aging Social Impact team. In this capacity, the **Program Manager** supports the planning, execution and ongoing management of the Social Impact model and infrastructure (operations and administration), as well as specific Social Impact projects the team undertakes, including communications and identifying innovative solutions to pressing societal challenges related to older adults and aging.

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Project management **(50% of time)
- Guide medium to large projects from start to finish - from idea generation to strategy development, drafting project plans to execution and scaling.
- Conduct environmental and market scans by reviewing grey literature.
- Lead and participate in the conceptualization of proposals/reports and taking a lead role to generate content for proposals/reports
- Coordinate activities involved in implementation of specific projects/project management
- Identify and anticipate implementation challenges and proactively addressing them
- Develop and update productivity and collaboration tools to support the team
- Supporting the team to operationalize the Future of Aging Social Impact team model and infrastructure

**Communications **(40% of time)
- Act as a key contact for the SE Future of Aging Social Impact team, managing internal and external communications (newsletter, website, events, social media, etc.), coordinating meetings
- Use innovative communications strategies and tactics to raise awareness of SE’s social impact work.
- Stay on top of communications innovations/trends/best practices
- Support the preparation of project reports and outputs
- Prepare presentation and workshop materials
- Conduct presentations on select components of a project, proposal or results
- Interview key informants and coordinate communications

**Stakeholder relationship management **(10% of time)
- Identify partners for collaboration
- Engage internal and external stakeholders relevant to specific projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to co-create content and design projects

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Master’s degree focused on health, innovation and/or management
- 3-5 years’ experience in professional or project management related to communications, aging or innovation
- Strong potential for succession planning
- Guided by desire to achieve a meaningful impact and work in a mission driven organization
- Previous experience with project or program management within the healthcare sector preferred
- Excellent relationship management and customer services skills. Professional yet collegial.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and be strong team player
- Can-do attitude, willingness to learn new skills and take initiative, but also knows when to seek clarification or direction on sensitive or key issues. This is key.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communications skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse people, including multiple levels of the organization, external stakeholders, vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Strong written communications skills with demonstrated evidence of business writing and editing
- Critical thinker and ability to solve problems and issue resolution
- Ability to multitask and manage tight deadlines within a changing environment
- Flexibility, creativity and the ability to work in a dynamic work environment
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- Performance driven, accountable for results
- Experience with digital communications is an asset
