As a Robotics Hardware Intern on the Robotics Hardware Team, you will have the chance to receive guidance from engineers and work alongside other disciplines (AI, ML, Software, Product, etc.) components and fixtures for complex robotics systems.

You bring some combination of:
- Ability to iterate quickly and demonstrate new concepts through hands-on prototyping of your design- Competence in design with SolidWorks, AutoCAD or other major packages (3D CAD, 2D drawings)- Knowledge of robotic systems, sensors, pneumatics, motors, PCB packaging and other electromechanical components- Comfortable with hand, power, and machine tools

Possible Projects/Explorations:
- Creating an instrumented test setup for evaluating alternative robot arms in a variety of use cases to validate simulation results- Research and evaluate technologies for dexterous manipulators- Automated test fixture creation (e.g. PLC+HMI programming experience) for unit tests- Prototype camera configurations for different machine vision use cases- Program a modular testing station utilising existing automation equipment libraries
