We are excited to announce that we are looking for early childhood leaders to join us in our advocacy for connection, play and inspiration, and become a _**Protector of Play**_**Leader**_ Our _**Mentors/ Workshop Facilitators**_ will be visiting programs in Edmonton and surrounding communities, to help ECEs build their strengths, skills, and passions in the early learning and child care sector. Our focus is on best practices and innovative ways to implement the science, research, and passion of Play in early learning environments. We strive to inspire other educators through interactive, practical, and playful workshops and webinars. Bring your energy, enthusiasm, and desire for connection and collaboration with other educators to our team. Let’s _inspire_ others together
- Edmonton and surrounding communities
- Part Time, Contract position
- Evenings and Saturdays
- Online and In-person workshops facilitation
- Online mentorship meetings with our Protectors of Play VIP community members
- Contract remuneration is based on services provided and will be discussed with interviewees.
- Orientation and onboarding training provided

**Qualifications**
- Minimum post secondary education in early learning and child care or related field (minimum 2-year diploma in early learning and child care)
- Knowledge and experience with implementation of Flight: Alberta’s Early Learning and Care Framework
- Knowledge of Alberta’s Early Learning Child Care Licensing Act and Regulations
- Minimum 10 years experience in child care
- Commitment to professionalism, leadership and best practices
- Strengths in leadership and communication skills (written and oral)
- Access to laptop with computer skills and presentation skills
- High proficiency of the English language
- Able to provide own transportation to various places in Edmonton and surrounding communities
- Passion and advocacy for Play in early learning and child care
- Positive attitude and growth mindset
- Ability to share stories and skillset with enthusiasm and passion
- Willingness to continue their own learning journey

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 0-10 per week

**Salary**: $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Early childhood education: 10 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Level 3 certification in early learning and child care (preferred)
