**Position Summary**

Smile For Sache is looking for a committed, well-trained professional to fill the soccer coach position. The ideal applicant will be a great role model for the players and will help with general practice and game day planning. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate well with players. Smile for Sache is dedicated to developing opportunities for women in sports, particularly for marginalized women. Since there will be players of diverse skill levels, it is the coach's responsibility to evaluate the team's potential and design practices appropriately.

**Essential Job Duties**
- During practice sessions, emphasize the principles of offense and defense to teach all facets of the game of soccer.
- To build a competitive team, keep the roster for the women's soccer team current.
- Create and assess a player's performance.
- Manage and oversee all practices.
- Arrange games and scrimmages.
- Prepare the playing field before and after the game.
- Inform the program manager with game results and information.
- Help with website maintenance and improvements for the Health & Wellness section.
- Arrange for the upkeep of the soccer program's equipment.

**Working Environment**
- Indoor season: indoor turf fields. Outdoor seasons: outdoor fields.
- A neat appearance and appropriate apparel are required.
- Will be working with 25 players in a house league.

**Compensation**

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $55.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: One location
