**Role Description**

You will support the sales team with the technical requirements for their prospective and existing accounts. You will draw from a breadth of machining software knowledge to partner with Account product demos, technical assessments, proposal scoping and development, and technical quoting assistance.

Leveraging your technical expertise and polished communication skills, you will help assess customer needs and recommend a technical solution. You will support Account Managers with pre-sales and post-sales activities and ensure a strong after-sale hand off to the technical teams.

This role requires you to travel up to 50% of the time with occasional overnight travel within Quebec, and other provinces as required.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- Partner with sales team to help achieve sales quotas.
- Gather technical information and help develop scopes, quotes and accurate statements of work for software, services, and post processors.
- Effectively communicate with customers to help them understand the functions and capabilities of the product we are providing and the project timelines.
- Effectively assess and communicate customer technical needs to internal partners.
- Provide technical teams with clear documentation and project scopes to support the implementation stage of a sale. Also help liaise with customers on project timelines and act as a project manager.
- Provide custom demonstrations to customers and business partners.
- Prepare and present material relating to new software releases, focusing on new enhancements within the product.
- Communicate with sales to identify customer training, service, or software update needs.
- Assist the marketing department with the creation of customer related content including webinars, how-to-tips, demos and presentations.
- Remain current and knowledgeable on all Company products and services, and with the main focus being Mastercam software.
- Participate in regular meetings internally to discuss strategies and industry trends.
- Perform other duties as required.

**Education & Skills**
- Post-secondary education in mechanical technology, general machinist ticket, or equivalent.
- Fluent in French with the ability to converse in English as required. Being fully bilingual would be a definite asset.
- Experience with computer aided design and/or manufacturing software for CNC machining.
- Experience with Mastercam and various CNC equipment and controls.
- Experience reading and interpreting basic G&M code.
- General computer and networking knowledge required.
- Strong communication skills in conveying knowledge to both highly technical and non-technical clients.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively discover account needs and provide solutions.
- Ability to multitask and solve problems in a dynamic work environment.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and own a vehicle in order to meet travel requirements.
