**About the Role**

We’re looking for a **Class F Driver** with at least 3 years’ experience to join our team. This position provides a challenging work environment as well as, offers you the support you need to do your best. This position also contributes to the overall customer service. We hope our search ends with you.

Start Date**:As soon as possible

Working Hours: Part-Time hours will be between 8:00AM and 6:00PM;
occasional weekend shifts will be available.
No guaranteed hours for on-call position.***

Reports to**:Coordinator - Support Services

Hourly Rate**:To be negotiated based on experience and license level

**_ Key Activities Include:_**
- Assisting clients safely in and out of the vehicles, including use of the wheelchair lift
- Keeping records of all drives and any incidents that occur
- Accurately tracking hours, mileage, and other statistics
- Planning each route based on road and traffic conditions
- Assist with various duties when not driving (i.e., housekeeping, equipment repair, maintenance, and general labour)
- Regular upkeep and maintenance of Momiji’s vehicles, including regular safety checks; taking the vehicles for fuel, repairs, and safety inspections; maintaining cleanliness of the interior and exterior
- Accurately tracking and maintaining all required transportation statistics for quarterly statistical reports
- To train new volunteer drivers on how to use Momiji vehicles
- Obtaining and keeping required paperwork (e.g. copies of license and insurance, driver’s abstract) and permission forms from all volunteer and staff drivers, on an annual basis
- To assist supervisors with other administrative duties related to Transportation Programs, as assigned

**_ Skills & Abilities Required:_**
- Valid Class F Drivers License
- Vulnerable sector police record check
- Clean drivers abstract
- 3 year’s experience
- Speaking, Writing and Reading in English
- Experience with lifting heavy equipment and lifting techniques
- Willingness to learn, take on new tasks and grow with the company
- Open and honest and a great communicator when interacting with others
- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g., at rush hour)
