**Summary**:
Remuda Building & Supplies is actively seeking a full-time Inside Sales Specialist to strengthen our front counter team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in building and maintaining our client base through exceptional customer service and strategic business development efforts. The position will involve a strong focus on B2B sales within the lumber and building materials industry, making industry knowledge a valuable asset. As the role expands, so will the opportunities for career advancement within our organization. Your primary focus will be Calgary, while also engaging with businesses throughout the surrounding rural towns in Alberta.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Customer Service, Front Counter Support and Management
- Customer Account Management (Set Up/Updates).
- Point of Sale Management.
- Outside Sales Support.
- Reception Duties (Answering Phones, Assisting Walk-Ins).
- Sales Support (Creating Quotes, Orders, Invoicing).
- Material Takeoffs for Clients.
- Problem Solving and Troubleshooting (Investigating Overages, Shortages, Damaged Material Complaints).
- Internal Account Management.
- Product and Front Counter Staff Training.
- Order Entry Coordination (Overrides, Finance/Sales Collaboration for Credit Accounts).
- Weekly Retail Pricing Checks.
- Assist with yard production and coordination.
- Assist with Logistics Support - only as required.
- OTIF Tracking / Resolution / Verifying photos.
- Scheduling orders in Dispatch.
- Procurement Support/Coverage
- Inventory sku Set-Up.
- Inventory Data Management/Clean-Up.
- Purchasing support when required - Creating and Submitting PO’s / working with Vendors.
- Develop and implement Point of Sale and ERP business systems processes.
- Internal Process Definition -bridging the process between Outside and Inside Sales, and CRM system.
- Manage new users, accessibility settings.
- High school diploma and Trade Certification
- A minimum of 10-20 years of experience in the building and construction industry
- Over 10 years of experience in Inside or Outside Sales within the lumber and building materials sector.
- Strong local knowledge of the lumber industry and a genuine passion for construction and customer service.
- Proficiency in working with POS systems and cross-functional collaboration within an organization.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and collaborate effectively with various departments.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Pay: $27.00-$40.00 per hour
