**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for dessert preparation.
- Establish work schedules and procedures; help with developing menus and promotional materials.
- Prepare food order summaries (compiling and organizing information) for chef according to customers' specific dietary needs and preferences.
- Maintain records of stock, sales, and wastage; assist in developing operation policies, procedures, and budgets.
- Ensure quality control standards are met for food and service.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns.
- May assist and/or conduct interviews for selecting new staff.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant management is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and food safety practices; strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems.
- Previous supervisory experience with a focus on team management is preferred.
- Barista experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Mandarin-speaking ability is a plus but not mandatory.
- Completion of secondary school.
