**Position Summary**: The Food & Beverage Supervisor ensures adherence to the Company’s policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian’s learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Coordinates reservations and dining room activities, ensuring that the seating arrangements are being honoured
- Arranges the employee schedule, taking into consideration the personal circumstances and general input of the servers
- Oversees the potential problems, ensuring all operations are running smoothly
- Undertakes to accommodate any special requests
- Inspects dining outlets before service
- Must work on the gaming floor in a compliance environment
- Must perform as a responsible manager
- Must sweep Casino on a timely basis
- Visual contact with each server who should be on the floor at that time and if they are not, finding out why and responding as necessary.
- Self serve station check to ensure that it is maintained and if not that you address this with the appropriate server.
- Bars must be checked as above.
- Remember that everyone has a designated break time so be aware of where your staff are.
- Perform cut offs as per cut off policy and procedure.
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Manages other initiatives as required

**Education and Qualification Requirements**:

- Must have at least 1 year experience in the Food & Beverage Management role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Exceptional organizational, problem solving and conflict resolution capabilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain “Cat 1 Gaming License”

**Work Environment Considerations**:Regular office environment, non-traditional work hours may be required in certain circumstances.
