Arborist Labourer

- JOB SUMMARY: An _Arborist _Labourer_ is responsible for assisting the crew with site maintenance and clean-up in addition to operating and maintaining maintenance equipment. This is an entry level position with opportunities for growth and advancement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Committed to working safely (fit for work), supporting a positive and productive team environment.-
- Capable of performing physically demanding manual labour in all weather conditions.-
- Loads and unloads trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris and/or feeds brush into a woodchipper.-
- Performs site set-up and take down including unloading and loading equipment; setting up barriers/ warning flags; and keeping the site picked up and orderly.-
- Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.- Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or higher.-
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record, air brakes endorsement a plus.-
- Ability to work as a crew member in a physically demanding environment.-
- Motivated to work both independently and as a team member and with good time management.-
- Ability to operate and service all required tools and equipment.-
- Working around excessive noise from machines, chainsaws, woodchipper and must wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).Must have valid First-Aid and CPR certificates.
