JOB: The role of the Sales Associate at Olive the Best is to create an engaging shopping experience for our customers while working in a place where you can share your love for fine quality food products, health & lifestyle, and interact with people in a real and authentic way. Located in Newport Village (Port Moody), it's not just a place to buy the best oils & vinegars, it is an experience - with free tastings & valued staff who can provide suggestions for great meals & great health. WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:A mature, retiree or someone with a flexible schedule** with a **passion for good quality food** & a **positive**, **friendly personality** that provides a customer with a **welcoming and quality experience**. Someone who **loves to share their knowledge** but also **takes time to listen to what the customer is looking for.** Things that will help you stand out as a potential "Olive the Best" Sales Associate are: retail sales and shipping experience, gift wrapping / gift baskets, a love of cooking, a willingness to learn, and flexibility around work hours and to act as a intricate part of the team. Hourly wages shown are to start but raises will be given regularly based on ability shown. ** ONLY APPLICANTS WITH EXPERIENCE NEED APPLY ** \High school education minimum required. **Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Flexible schedule - On-site parking - Store discount COVID-19 considerations: We follow all guidelines as they are set by Health Authorities.
