you need to love food and have experience in recipe creation.

The R&D & QA specialist assists in any quality optimization of raw material, packaging and finished products working with ingredients suppliers, recipie creation, manufacturing sites, flavor, quality control, and local OPS.

He/She will also assist in the development of new products within timelines including basic costing, processing requirements, SOPs and specifications. Your main responsibilities as a R&D & QA Specialist: QUALITY ASSURANCE Coordinate with supplier’s QC & QA teams

**Ensure Ingredients & Packaging meet the QA Standards ** Ensure replicability between back-up suppliers Coordinate with plant’s QC, QA & Ops Team

**Ensure products meets the QA Standards and optimum product quality ** Ensure replicability across all manufacturing facilities.

**Investigate, report and make recommendations on technical issues ** Monitor and recommend improvements (tools) in processes to meet Quality Standards

**Manage and develop Production Quality standards, best practices, and SOPs ** Manage quality testing with External labs Work with internal QA team

**Manage Quality System documentation from all suppliers ** Manage Quality Compliance Program

**Lead Product Stability Program ** Responds to customer complaints or inquires and develops action plans to address packaging-related complaints

**Ensure that the internal regulatory department database for new products, is kept up to date (labeling, artwork, product claims and regulatory research) REGULATORY COMPLIANCE ** Keep up and understand the regulatory environment and interpretation of regulations for food and dietary supplement and how our products are affected

**Prepare market notifications and registrations of new products (US & Canada) ** Prepare labels and assure compliance in designated geographical area (Graphics development and product labeling with marketing team, Manage and maintain can and packaging files on server) R&D

**Conduct category and product research to provide support to the Innovation and marketing effort ** Coordinate and support research, development and documentation on new products, flavors, sugar reduction with copackers and suppliers
