Hanover & District Hospital (HDH) works with its partners to provide a full range of primary acute care hospital services and selected secondary services to meet the needs of the population of Hanover and the surrounding rural townships.
HDH provides the people we service access to the care they need through 24/7 Emergency Department, Acute Care Unit (inclusive of medical/surgical beds, multipurpose ICU and RCU beds), Physiotherapy Program, Surgical Services Department, Family Centered Birthing Unit, Hemodialysis Unit and Palliative Care Services.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
The pharmacy tech works within the full scope of practice per the Standards of Practice for Pharmacy Technicians in the Province of Ontario and within hospital policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program;
- Fully registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists;
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred;
- Experience with Cerner PharmNet computer system an asset;
- Extensive experience with computers, related hardware, and PC software;
- Ability to prioritize, work both independently and as an effective team member, and respond quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment;
- Ability to take action and initiative to improve processes and partnerships;
- Excellent problem solving skills;
- Overall commitment to the quality of patient care as well as customer service;
- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively and cooperatively with all levels of staff, patients, physicians and public and regional healthcare partners;
- Ability and willingness to continually upgrade technical skills and knowledge;
- Flexibility in hours of work
- availability to work all shifts;
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: $28.94-$33.37 per hour
