The Director of Financing Solutions is our credit expert. He works closely with Account Managers and several other internal and external partners.

This position reports to the Associate Vice President.

**Your role**
- Perform high-quality credit analyses in accordance with the standards established by the Credit Centre, and make recommendations.
- Participate in determining client financing needs in collaboration with the Commercial Banking Manager
- Negotiate credit terms and conditions with the Credit Risk Management as needed and confirm the availability of financing for the Commercial Banking Director.
- Act as a resource person for your team in handling credit matters and assist the AVP, as needed, in addressing team members' skills development in this area.
- You must be able to identify the risks inherent to Personal and Commercial Banking sector activities.

**Required competencies**
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6 years of relevant experience, OR a master’s degree in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience, or Certificate and 8 years of relevant experience
- Negotiation experience
- Experience in commercial credit
- Experience analyzing financial statements
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other platforms customarily used in a lending environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to effectively collaborate with partners and form well-reasoned recommendations.
