**Job Summary**:
Cedars at Cobble Hill is a residential addiction treatment center on Vancouver Island offering the serenity, hope and healing individuals need to embark their journey of recovery. Situated on over 65 acres of property with several kilometers of trails, our facility takes advantage of the natural beauty of British Columbia's west coast.

The Culinary Team is responsible for preparing delicious and balanced meals for the patient population; ensuring that all dietary and nutritional needs are met.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Working in collaboration with the Culinary Team, cooks are responsible for prepping, preparing, cooking and serving meals for the patient populations.
- Ensuring that health and safety requirements are met in alignment with food safe and health authority guidelines.
- Participate in daily sanitation measures, dishwashing, and equipment cleaning
- Receive and process daily orders, provide production sheets and record meal counts

Skill Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong food safety skills
- Ability to cook nutritious & quality meals
- Creativity an asset
- Professional and mature attitude

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

Licence/Certification:
