**Job Title**: Digital Product Owner - Store Digital Services & Tools, major Canadian Retailer

**Reports to**: eCommerce Product Manager

**Job Type**: Contract - 12 months, potential for Full-time permanent post contract

**Hours**:Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
This role focuses on improving our store’s ability to bring to life our harmonized shopping experience. Our vision for this role is:
Empowering store associates with intuitive and easy-to-use tools to satisfy our customer's digital needs and preferences both online and in-store.

This role is perfect for someone who is great at creating and improving processes, understands the entire omni-channel shopping journey, and is a creative thinker.

This role works with the product manager to own the product backlog while prioritizing work and making product-related decisions based on the needs and expectations of customers and stakeholders.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work with product manager to own product development from conception to launch
- Write epics and stories for new features and enhancements to effectively communicate requirements to the development team
- Work closely with UX/Design teams to target and solution specific user problems
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to implement new features and enhancements to improve the eCommerce experience.
- Work with stores to understand their processes, pain points and how eCommerce/digital affects their daily operations
- Perform User Acceptance Testing on new features and enhancements.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
College / University diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Communications, or related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in product management, project management, business analysis, preferably in the digital retail industry, or equivalent experience working in eCommerce.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Google Analytics. Experience with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize, support and react to multiple changing requests; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in an agile “scrum” environment.
- Understanding of UX & UI best practices.
- Excellent understanding of processes and how small changes affect the overall bigger picture.
- Love for learning new skills.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
