**The Opportunity**:
WSP is currently seeking a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis, reporting to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, to join our Finance team in WSP Canada. You will be responsible for providing analytical support for WSP Canada's financial plans, forecasting and actual performance in order to ensure accuracy and clarity in the understanding of the main business drivers. You will also handle specific overall cost planning and analysis and support corporate and business segments in the development of their plans and forecasts. **A day in the life**:
- Full responsibility for Analysis and Consolidation of Management and Corporate reporting for Operations Leaders; Canada Leadership Team, Global and other key stakeholders
- Lead Long term planning, annual budget and quarterly forecast and monthly
- Support the development of presentations and documents needed for the Canada Leadership team and executive financial reviews as well as monthly/ad hoc analysis to assist the management team
- Assist regional and sector teams in presenting and distributing information
- Liaise with CFO and executives to ensure the main business drivers are well understood
- Participate in review meetings with regional and Sector operations and challenge forecast and budget assumptions to ensure accuracy, integrity and credibility
- Implement tools and strategies to translate raw data into relevant market intelligence
- Support the upper management team in key decision-making processes
- Determine the key drivers of performance and catalysts for risk and opportunities assessment
- Management of the data quality for reported KPI's and results
- Provide value to Business leaders and other stakeholders with Ad-hoc analysis of information to provide insight into relevant business drivers
- Lead, Manage, Mentor and develop a team of Analysts
- Analyze and measure the financial, operational and strategic impacts of acquisitions, sales and other investments
- Leadership, development and support of oracle ERP in cooperation with Enterprise Information systems
- Makes independent decisions related to resources, approach, and tactical operations. Decision-making may include cross Function collaboration Interprets and executes policies and procedures
