We’re seeking a creative, friendly and motivated Sales Associate to join our small team at Stock Home Design in Kitsilano. You'll provide exemplary customer service by serving all customers promptly and professionally while identifying opportunities to promote merchandise to better meet customers’ needs. To be successful in this role, you’ll need excellent people and customer service skills, and the ability to wear many hats. Bonus if you love anything home decor, art, and locally made products

**Responsibilities**:

- Create a positive customer experience by understanding and meeting service needs quickly and professionally.

- Process sales transactions and handle cash.
- Lift and move boxes and furniture where required.
- Assist with maintaining the store, which includes tasks such as organizing stock, merchandising, and pricing.

About you:

- Have previous retail sales experience (minimum 2 years).
- Are reliable, motivated and a self-starter.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Are willing to take the initiative to learn about our products and services.
- Are a team player who enjoys working in a supportive environment.
- Have a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Part-time hours: 20-25 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
