Process Change Specialist - Contract position in Burnaby (hybrid model):
On behalf of our client in **Burnaby,** **Ignite Technical Resources** is looking for a **Process Change Specialist **with our client** **for a **contract opportunity**.
**Role Description**:
The change specialist is expected to support, guide, coach, and closely collaborate with the Senior Project Manager and project team to ensure the project’s Change Readiness Strategy and work plan are delivered for the Parks & Recreation Information System Management (PRISM) project.

The role will provide advice and technical assistance to implement best practices in combination with knowledge, experience and practical tools in the area of organizational readiness and change management methods.
**Deliverables will include, but are not limited to, supporting the delivery of the outputs of the following for the PRISM project**:

- Organizational & Change Assessments.
- Stakeholder Assessments and Analysis.
- Change Impact Assessment.
- Organizational Readiness Strategy & Plan.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Plan.
- Detailed Organizational Work Plan.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver the change readiness strategy for the Parks & Recreation Information System Management (PRISM) project.
- Perform change impact assessment for each of the workstreams to identify specific change-related needs.
- Working with the communications & training leads to support in providing the necessary inputs, across the program.
- Plan the effort required to execute change management activities, as well as identify any resourcing needs for those change management activities within the program.
- Develop and maintain an integrated program-level change management plan that aligns with the integrated program plan of the project.
- Support project manager and business analyst on the project deployment and rollout activities, including planning and executing the required change activities associated to support the overall execution of deployment and rollout.
- Act as an expert advisor for change management for the initiative.
- Provide hands-on change management support.
- Support the fulfillment of the company’s PRISM project through interventions such as change management, incorporating aspects of communication, strategy and planning, people engagement, facilitation, role clarification, and team building.
- Be the go-to person for providing hands-on change management support, connecting with networks of other resources in the People & Culture team, Operations, and other partners as needed.
- Provide advice to leaders and teams on change management strategies and tactics to support people's side of change. This includes just-in-time consultation with leaders of the project across the company.

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated advanced and current Change Management & IT knowledge.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet changing priorities and multi-task while meeting strict deadlines.
- Must be a team player and work well with cross-departmental teams.
Commitment to regular ongoing professional development (including leadership and specific IT skills, professional associations, and current industry trends).
- High level of professionalism and ethics.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- Work closely and build strong trust-based relationships with new and existing clients while collaborating with the Spot Solutions team members over the entire life cycle of the project.
- Be highly organized, analytical, naturally collaborative, and the primary client advocate.
**Certification**:

- Prosci Certification.
- PMI / PMI-PBA would be an asset.
- Lean, Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) would be an asset.
**Education & Experience**:

- Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline such as Organizational Development, Human Resources, Communication, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
- Seven (7) years’ recent, related experience in change management, project management, facilitation, organizational development, stakeholder engagement and training and development of staff or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Six (6) years experience in a Change Management role: minimum of six years of current, relevant experience working in a medium to large-sized IT department/organization working with multiple teams of technical staff; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Three (3) years implementing SaaS and COTS products in a hybrid of business solutions.
- Experience as a digital strategist, in implementing data-driven digital service initiatives or large-scale cloud-based digital transformation is highly desirable.
- Government Experience is highly desirable.
