Details of vacancy:
The Board is offering a Summer Learning Program to support Grades 1-6 students in minimizing summer learning loss and preparing for September. The focus will be on literacy and mathematics (numeracy) with the goal of increasing student achievement and closing the achievement gaps for participating students.
- The program requires on-site presence
- Staff will report to the Principal/Vice-Principal of Summer Learning

Hours of Work:

- The Summer Learning Program will run from July 4th to July 21st inclusive from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm Monday to Friday.
- All staff selected are required to attend training/preparation on June 29th and June 30th, for full days. Specific hours to be determined.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Incumbents must possess a secondary school diploma and two year or three year Community College Diploma in one of the following: Child & Youth Worker, Registered Early Childhood Educator*, Behavioral Science Technician, Educational Assistant, Developmental Services Worker or Social Service Worker, Registered Nurse**, Registered Nursing Assistant or Registered Practical Nurse**:

- Bachelor Degrees in Child Studies, Sociology and Psychology will be recognized.
- Behaviour Management Systems (BMS) training/certification is an asset.
- Related work experience would be an asset.
- RECE registration in good standing

**Nursing diplomas must be accompanied by proof of current certification

**Selection Process:
