P&D Delivery Driver

Job Summary:
Main responsibilities of the position (the “what”):

- Transporting goods, materials and personnel safely and efficiently between locations;
- Maintaining vehicle records such as fuel consumption, repairs, etc.;
- Performing pre/post trip inspections of vehicles before/after use;
- Assisting with warehouse duties such as loading/unloading material when needed;
- Keeping accurate records related to trips, deliveries, maintenance, etc.;
- Adhering to company policies and procedures at all times;
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications for the position (the “who”):

- Valid Ontario Class “DZ” license with a clean driving record;
- Proven experience operating heavy duty vehicles;
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs;
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends and statutory holidays;
- Willingness to travel as required;
- Comfortable working outdoors;
- Comfortable working in confined spaces;
- Comfortable working with chemicals.
