Junior Butcher

Overview:
Join our team as a skilled Butcher who is passionate about the food industry and dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our customers. As a Butcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the freshness and quality of our meat products while providing exceptional customer service.

**Duties**:

- Minimum of 3years of experience on trade of butchery
- Perform meat cutting and preparation tasks according to established standards
- Package and label meat products for display and sale
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Interact with customers to provide information, recommendations, and assistance with their meat selections
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meat orders and inventory management
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and equipment
- Assist in training new team members on meat cutting techniques and procedures

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Butcher in a fast-paced food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques, including portion control and quality standards
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while also capable of independent work
- Experience in handling customer inquiries and resolving issues professionally

Pay: $16.55-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 - 44 per week
