Basketball Instructor

**About us**

Bearcubs Basketball is a small business in Newmarket, ON. We are a non-profit organization and our goal is to give back and serve our community through youth sports. This includes basketball, soccer, hockey, golf, boxing and much more. Additionally we also help students academically, offering language classes, coding and also tutoring.

**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Basketball Instructor to join our team. As an Instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach, educate and inspire young athletes in basketball

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to run a basketball group session anywhere from 5-10 kids. This includes developing the right skills and drills for the class
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assess the session's progress and provide feedback
- Every so often collaborate with our team to enhance the program

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in coaching/training basketball in groups
- Previous experience working with kids ages 6-12

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
