2171449 Alberta Ltd is recruiting on behalf of our client, Holiday Inn Edmonton South - Evario Events - The First H4 property with Conferencing and Banqueting facilities in Canada with 126 state of the art rooms, Lobby restaurant & bar, a 20,000 sq ft banqueting and conferencing facilities. We are looking for YOU to join our team.

As a Front desk agent, you will be responsible for checking guests in and out of the hotel, processing room service orders, making copies and issuing keys. We expect you to be a motivated self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. able to work under mínimal supervision. Rest assured you’ll have plenty of opportunity to exercise your leadership abilities and quickly learn new skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Check in guests, provide directions and answer general questions.
- Check out guests and ensure all accounts are up to date.
- Record incidentals and reimbursements to guests.
- Ensure guests have breakfast requests recorded and fulfilled.
- Create clean copy of daily activity log.
- Hand out room keys to guests upon arrival.
- Answer and direct incoming calls via the switchboard.
- Assist in maintaining security by monitoring the front desk during evening hours.

**What we need from you**
- Strength - with the occasional lifting of items.
- Ability to follow instructions and detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently.
- Fitness - you’ll be on your feet most of the day, and will need to bend and kneel a lot
- Flexibility - day, evening, night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job.
