Barre Teacher

Atma Yoga is looking for dynamic and confident individuals, who are high performers with a passion for fitness to join our team of teachers. We require an experienced and certified Barre Teacher who can deliver an extraordinary experience and can teach 2-3 Barre classes per week. The teacher will provide this experience through a welcoming front desk check-in process, guiding clients through the class, and supporting each individual client to achieve their fitness goals.

An Atma Yoga Barre Teacher cultivates supportive relationships with our students by being approachable, ensuring client safety. A passion for Barre and prior knowledge of our studio is a plus, but not required. Musicality and the ability to lead a room of up to 10 people are a must

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Plan and prepare the choreography of each class
- Set up the studio prior to class; reset and clean the studio after every class. This includes being responsible for studio tidiness, returning equipment to specified storage areas and performing specific cleaning tasks to ensure standards of cleanliness are observed.
- Provide outstanding customer service to all clients; welcome clients, check clients in to class and navigate scheduling software.
- Help to sell memberships
- Demonstrate consistency in punctuality, professional appearance, and reliability
- Comply with expectations regarding notice for substitutions and vacations
- Contribute to a supportive and fun studio environment and foster positive working relationships

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Availability to teach a minimum of two classes per week
- Enthusiastic, confident and outgoing personality
- Passion for fitness, wellness, and helping others
- Demonstrate anatomical knowledge, proper form and alignment with a focus on safety
- Ability and desire to build client relationships through outstanding customer service
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and a natural willingness to go above and beyond
- Confidence to energetically command a room of up to 10 people
- Musicality - ability to keep rhythm and count to beat of music

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 3 per week

**Salary**: $35.00 per hour
