Located in the heart of Guelph, Cutten Fields offers a blend of outstanding tradition with superior service in Guelph’s only first-class private golf and tennis club.

Established in 1931, Cutten Fields has grown over the years and now offers a year round venue for casual and fine dining, banquets, weddings, social events and various other functions, as well as Golf & Tennis.

We are looking for a Communications Coordinator to join our Admin Team, and report to the Chief Operating Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves storytelling through words and visuals, and has a flair for design and digital marketing. If you’re passionate about creating engaging content, building connections, and bringing fresh ideas to the table, this role is for you.

**Duties consist of, but are not limited to**:

- Develop and deliver marketing and communication strategies that inspire engagement and reflect our brand;
- Collaborate with Department Heads to capture stories, news, and updates for members and the wider community;
- Create, design, and share compelling content, from eye-catching graphics, videos and clear engaging copy;
- Manage and grow our presence across social media platforms, ensuring our voice is consistent, vibrant, and on-brand;
- Support sales initiatives through thoughtful campaigns that generate leads and build awareness;
- Keep our website up-to-date, accurate, and engaging;
- Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies for continuous improvement;
- Design digital and print materials that highlight the Cutten Fields experience;
- Support and promote club events, campaigns, and initiatives with energy and creativity

**The person we are looking for has**:

- A degree (or working towards one) in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field;
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in marketing, communications, or digital media;
- Strong creative writing, editing, and proofreading skills;
- Proficiency in graphic design and content creation;
- A solid grasp of social media platforms and their unique audiences;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail;
- Comfort with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and web content management;
- A proactive mindset — you take initiative, solve problems, and get things done;
**Some skills that are nice to have, but not required**:

- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign);
- Photography and videography skills;
- Video editing experience (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
- Along with your resume, we are asking applicants to provide a portfolio or 2-3 samples of previous communications work (e.g., writing, social media posts, design projects). Please also include an explanation of the work submitted._

Pay: $53,000.00-$58,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 44 per week
