We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to be a part of our People & Culture team, our internal people champions that work behind the scenes to make sure our people are happy and engaged. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency in our hiring processes, conducting recruitment efforts for a variety of positions across the company. You will work with Senior Leadership and hiring managers to understand the needs of each role being hired for and source and bring in the best person for each role. This role is ideal for you if you demonstrate a passion for engaging with people, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and an interest in technology.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the full cycle recruitment process.
- Being the main point of contact for applicants and hiring managers.
- Work with the People & Culture Manager to identify talent gaps, develop compelling job descriptions and postings.
- Use your curiosity to deeply understand all roles in the hiring process and help build interview guides for each role.
- Innovate on ways to build a talent pipeline and hire through multiple sources in a cost-effective manner.
- Support P&C Manager with employee onboarding.
- Oversee benefits program in Canada and USA
- Review and design process and systems for continuous improvement.
- Responsible for ATS, keeping all data updated, managing feedback and recording hiring manager feedback and interview notes.
- Ad hoc People & Culture tasks, including managing benefits for US and Canada, maintaining hiring trackers and data reports, maintaining hiring folders etc.
Key Qualifications
- Previous experience managing the complete hiring cycle from requisition until offer.
- Recruiting best practices concerning tracking, communication and follow up.
- Ability to work under tight timelines, multitask and prioritize per the changing business needs.
- Organized and responsive, with the ability to handle multiple hiring roles. simultaneously at various stages of the hiring process.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, high-energy individual with the ability to influence others.
