**Fresh and Frozen Order Picker**

In this role, you will be responsible for performing the necessary job tasks and activities assigned to process the flow of goods through the Nature's Emporium Distribution Centre to our various retail locations. The Warehouse Associates are responsible for meeting/exceeding performance requirements in the areas of safety, quality, and productivity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receiving, order selection & processing, palletizing, lift truck operations and loading of fresh and frozen products.
- Work safely, productively and accurately with mínimal supervision
- Safely operate various types of material handling equipment (ie. Walkie Rider, Forklift) in order to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting product
- Meet Safety expectations for this role as outlined
- Additional duties as assigned by Warehouse Management

**Working Conditions**:

- This position requires frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of products, with weights ranging from light to moderately heavy.
- Warehouse Associates/Order Pickers should be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and maneuvering heavier loads with the assistance of appropriate equipment.
- The job primarily involves standing and walking for extended periods as you navigate the warehouse to pick and pack orders.
- The warehouse environment does experience temperature variations due to seasonal changes, refrigerated and frozen storage areas. Order Pickers should be prepared to work in both cooler and warmer temperatures and dress accordingly to ensure comfort and safety.

**Knowledge/Experience Required**:

- Previous Distribution/ Transportation experience is an asset.
- Experience operating a walkie-rider is an asset.
- Able to move and/or lift 50-70 pounds

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
