As the **Specialist SCM Data (Data Science Specialist),** you will be joining a small team that embraces data and technology to develop advanced and innovative solutions. The Data Science Specialist works with the Strategic Sourcing and Source to Contract organizations. In this role, you will engage with cross functional business partners and facilitate building data pipelines and analytics projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Executing ongoing data projects for Cost Productivity, Price Productivity, and First Quote Competitiveness.
- Data Pipeline: Gather required data, organize and manage the data, clean and prepare for modelling.
- Data Analysis: Design, develop and deploy Machine Learning Models for consumption by Business users.
- Story Telling: Develop dashboards and recurring reports to translate data & information into insight.
- Dedication to ensuring your work is well documented and version controlled.

**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**:

- Have experience using the following services/tools:

- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Storage, and other services.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and other services.
- Experience with Power BI, or other visualization software.
- Experience with Python
- The ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new languages, tools, frameworks, and to stay informed on developments in ML techniques and technologies
- General knowledge of the supply chain is considered an asset.

**Experience**:

- 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineering or Data Science role or equivalent.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics.
- Business background in Supply Chain Management is considered an asset.
