You’ll play an instrumental role in making us the charity of choice for individual donors - and help secure the funds we need to make an impact in our community. This includes prospecting, discovery, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship with the goal of increasing the number of donors and the overall revenue. You’ll help craft our message and share our story, building solid relationships on behalf of the YMCA of Three Rivers.**_ Do you have what it takes?_** Ideally, you’ve completed your post-secondary studies and have a few years of experience in the not-for-profit sector. You’re a strong communicator, a critical thinker, and a team player. You’ve got some knowledge about CRA, privacy compliances and AODA communications. You are familiar with CRM systems, know your way around a proposal and can make a solid face-to-face ask. You’re passionate about making a difference, hitting targets and you prioritize building meaningful relationships with those around you.License or designation required: CFRE preferredThis work is dynamic, so you will need to be flexible and adept at managing emerging opportunities. We envision someone working full time hours on this work, with flexibility in how that is achieved, so you should have strong time management and self-starting abilities.The work of fundraising benefits from in-person engagement, so you would be expected to travel to on-site locations regularly.
