**SUMMARY**
We are currently looking for an assembler for our client, a large supplier of vertically integrated Tier II build-to-print metallic and composite parts, kits, and assemblies. As an assembler you will be performing manual labor at a work station, operate machinery and computers, and you may be required to perform minor repairs as necessary.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Operate pemserters, riveting machines and other required tools (various hand tools used for install)
- Ensure work instructions and safe work procedures are followed.
- Troubleshoot production assembly.
- Knowledge of heli-coils, hi-loks, bucking install process, nut-plates, keenserts
- Knowledge of ERP system is an asset
- Perform equipment change-overs; Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on production machinery.
- Work with quality department to ensure that parts are correct; Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications; Reject product outside of specifications.
- Transfer information and knowledge across shifts as required; Work as a team to ensure completion of product in a timely manner.
- Clean and maintain work area by supporting 5S program.
- All other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experience in the aerospace industry required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
- Ability to setup assembly equipment

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

**Experience**:

- Assembly: 3 years (preferred)
- aerospace: 3 years (preferred)
