**Job Summary**
This is a full time position Monday to Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
**Responsibilities**:
The successful applicant will be responsible for a wide variety of office tasks including but not limited to:
- Answering phones and directing calls
- Greeting foot traffic and directing them appropriately
- Extensive use of Steel Manager 3, our Enterprise Software to:
- Process Sales Orders
- Create packing slips and Bills of Lading
- Enter Credit Notes
- Complete Inventory Adjustments
- Receive inventory
- Other related tasks
- Arrange courier pick ups with various freight companies
- Coordinate inbound inventory traffic from various suppliers across the world including numerous incoming shipping containers each month.
- Liaise with sales and the warehouse to provide support in a variety of ways
- Process customer payments using Moneris POS system
**Qualifications**:
- A strong work ethic and positive outlook are required.
- Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize objectives in a fast paced environment
- Strong computer skills including a good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Attention to detail
- Basic math including being comfortable working with fractions and decimals.
- High School education
- Administrative / office experience preferred
- Experience with or familiarity with shipping and receiving functions is an asset
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
