**About Us**:
Matcha Mat Yoga blends movement, mindfulness, and community — every class ends with a complimentary cup of ceremonial matcha. We’re looking for a friendly, reliable person to help create that warm, welcoming experience at our classes and events.
**Role Overview**:
You’ll be the heart of our post-class experience Your job is to set up the matcha station, prepare customized matcha drinks for students during class, and help create a calm, social vibe as everyone connects afterward.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Pick up supplies in Burnaby and drive to studios in Vancouver
- Set up and style the matcha bar / table at the yoga studio
- Prepare and serve customized drinks (hot, iced, or hojicha options)
- Keep everything clean, organized, and photo-ready
- Be friendly, social, and welcoming to students
- Help pack up after class and return supplies as needed
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently and chatting with guests
- Driver’s license and access to a car (for pickup and drop-off)
- Experience in hospitality, events, or cafés is a plus
- Bonus: You love matcha or wellness culture
**Hours & Pay**:
- Typically 2 hours per class (30 min for equipment pick up, 1 hour for matcha service, 30 min for drop off) 4 classes a week, will be growing soon.
- Classes mainly on weekends and some evenings
- $20/hr
