Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students by providing personalized educational support. This is a paid position that requires experience working with children and strong communication skills.

**Duties**:

- Newton's tutoring centre looking for knowledgable, reliable tutors who enjoy working with students from all age groups
- Kindergarten to Grade 12
- Communicate with students to understand their individual learning needs and goals
- Develop customized lesson plans and teaching strategies to address specific areas of improvement
- Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents or guardians
- Create a supportive and engaging learning environment

**Experience**:

- Familiarity with Current Ontario Curriculum
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in a classroom setting
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience and empathy when working with students who may be struggling academically
- Passion for education and helping students reach their full potential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
