**Toronto Dermatology Centre** is recruiting for a full time **Medical Patient Care Coordinator **to join our growing team.

**Who you are**:
You are the patients first and last impression before and after they leave the clinic. You have the unique ability to make an instant connection with the patient with your commanding and genuine interpersonal skills. You are warm, you are friendly, and your presence contributes to a calm, welcoming environment. You are a master communicator which is an integral component in keeping the clinic flowing. As a coordinator you handle administrative tasks so you are extremely organized, detailed, can prioritize and are very efficient. Without you, the clinic would suffer because you are the backbone, holding it together. You are in constant communication with the concierge who will guide the patient through the clinic.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcome new and existing patients and visitors in a friendly, welcoming, & approachable manner
- Work as part of a team responsible for the front desk customer service, patient intake, & patient billing
- Receive high volume of phone calls and be able to prioritize calls and real-time patient interaction
- Register patients and obtains all necessary demographic information and accurately input into electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Operate point of sale transaction terminal for accepting cash, credit and debit payments
- Reception and administration support for a clinic with multiple health practitioners

**Qualifications**:

- Attention to detail is critical
- Must be able to work well within a team environment
- Must be able to use professional communication over phone, written word, and in person
- Very strong computer proficiency and the ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of the EMR system an asset
- Complete fluency of the English language
- Some Saturdays required
