Dumalo Optometry is an independent optometry practice proud to have operated on the North Shore for 40 years We provide quality vision care, exceptional customer service and an award-winning optical boutique with a distinctive selection of eyewear.

We are currently looking to add another member to our team. The position offered is full-time 40 hours per week, but part-time will be considered for the right individual.

- Maintains an interest in fashion and trends for both glasses and sunglasses

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

- Assisting clients with personalized frame and lens selection
- Educating clients on various products and services
- Frame adjustments and repairs
- Processing, receiving and verifying lab orders
- Edging and assembling glasses
- Merchandising and maintenance of optical products

Additional responsibilities may include:

- Greeting and checking in clients upon arrival
- Answering incoming phone calls and scheduling appointments
- Dispensing of retail eye care products
- Assisting in maintaining office flow and creating an exceptional experience for our clients
- Learning to operate pre-testing equipment

**Optician license an asset but not required.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 32-40 per week

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
