**Job Summary**:
Title: Marketing and Trade Show Coordinator
You will be working in a team environment, as a member of our Marketing team. As _Marketing Coordinator,_ you will be responsible for working with and overseeing the day-to-day activities of our Marketing team. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Identifying new product line opportunities that are in line with our scope of business, our target customers and allow us to continue to be the price point leader in the marketplace within those product lines.
- Responsible for making recommendations on trends in the marketplace to Senior Management, as they relate to our business.
- Managing, alongside other department colleagues, the Tradeshow preparation process including product selection, promotions, tradeshow set up, scheduling, etc.
- Overseeing the quality control and improvement process as it relates to the functionality of each item.
- Overseeing and managing the operation of the Showroom used by our sales team and retail store customers.
- Responsible for working with Senior Management, Marketing and the Graphics team to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy for each new or enhanced product line including product packaging, item descriptions, product launch, and product launch promotions.
- Advising Senior Management on recommended changes to product samples received from vendors (names, colors, shapes, etc.)
- Assisting the Sourcing Department in managing vendor relations and communications as it relates to new product lines.
- Create and monitor digital marketing efforts to promote our products through a variety of platforms.
- Responsible for proofreading and the overall quality control of our catalogues before they go to print.
- Responsible for organizing various social events throughout the year.
While performing your duties, you will be expected to possess the following qualities:

- Ability to work well with others and be an effective communicator.
- Ability to problem solve and provide direction to others.
- Ability to begin, manage and finish multiple projects simultaneously and be extremely organized.
- Proven ability to manage and organize a heavy flow of information.
- Ability to work under pressure and have a good use of memory.
**Prerequisites**:
- College or University degree in Marketing or an associated field is required.
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience advising Senior Management as it relates to marketing initiatives.
- Experience with new product line opportunities within an associated market is an asset.
- Social media and marketing campaign experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience in graphic designing is required.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office products is an asset.

Contract length: 14 months
Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
