**Job Title**: National Sales Manager **Location: Toronto, **Ontario,** **Canada - Remote **FLSA**: Exempt **Job Overview**: The National Sales Manager supports a major OEM auto maker relationship, the OEM’s retail dealerships, and related staff with Safe-Guard Product and Services Training and Sales Advisory Services. The position will be responsible for managing Safe Guard’s team of Regional Performance Managers within an assigned account. The National Sales Manager will use his/her product knowledge and training skills to maximize productivity and results throughout multiple clients Nationally. **Responsibilities**: - Serve as the primary point of contact with key partners and clients to meet defined goals and strategic results. - Build and conduct customized training programs to assist OEM auto makers and/or their dealership network to grow and improve their book of Finance & Insurance business. - Develop, train, and mentor a team of Regional Performance Managers to maximize their contributions and achieve growth and financial targets. - Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and drive seamless execution of strategic initiatives. - Leverage the Safe-Guard Training platform as a strategic differentiator and value added product/service. - Identify opportunities to help improve our sales processes and implement them to add efficiency. - Enhance programs and systems related to Safe-Guard product knowledge, menu selling mastery and objection handling expertise with industry constituents. - Conduct National and Dealership training seminars designed to increase dealer profitability and product sales penetration. - Assist Dealers’ efforts to comply with applicable laws and regulations via best practice reviews and ongoing training. - Market and facilitate Dealer participation in comprehensive F&I certification and training classes hosted by Safe-Guard. - Educate and train all applicable departments and personnel on the features, benefits and value of Safe-Guard products. - Accountable for assigning and tracking sales targets - Implement action plans for increased sales of Safe-Guard products and services. - Advance relationships with key partners and work closely to develop win/win strategies to improve productivity. **Job Requirements**: - 8+ years of automotive retail-related management (F&I, Sales Mgr, GSM, GM, Training Specialist) - ** 2+ years of **F&I specific experience** (may be included in 8+ years above) - 3+ years of proven territory management and training activities (may be included in 8+ years above). - Experience managing, supporting and training in the Automotive industry. - Extensive menu selling knowledge/experience. - Proficient in selling current F&I product suite portfolio. - Experienced in account development with sustained results. - Experienced in “hands-on” development training of dealership personnel and/or "train the trainer" in-store development. - Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, preferred - Excellent communications and public speaking skills - Proven history of success in developing innovative programs through execution of established conversion methods - Must be willing to travel at least 65% **Company Benefits**: - Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - Flexible Spending Account - Health Savings Account - 401(k) Plan with Company Match - Company-paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability - Company-paid Life Insurance - Paid Holidays and Vacation - Employee Referral Program - Employee Assistance Program - Wellness Programs - Paid Community Service Opportunities - Tuition Reimbursement - Ongoing Training & Personal Development - And More **About Us**: Safe-Guard Products International is the leading provider of branded vehicle protection products in the finance and insurance space to the automotive, RV, marine and motorcycle/powersports industries.
